Seville's culinary variety

If you are looking for a bar in Seville that offers a wide variety of Spanish cuisine, look no further, Elcano - Los Caracoles is your bar.

Our employees are more than just workers, they are friendly people who treat each client with love and affection.

We are a big family.

Elcano Bar is a historic establishment of Sevillian gastronomy, founded in the 1950s.

Its specialty is snails, prepared with a recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation.

Today, the bar is run by "Willy," son of Antonio and Paqui, who continues the family tradition.

Our tapas speak for themselves.

Here, critics love the snails and the cheek meat.

Award for the Best Snails in Seville, Hospitality Association.

Bar Elcano has been a benchmark for Sevillian cuisine for seven decades. Its history began with Pedro, who opened the bar in the neighbourhood of the same name in the 1950s. Since then, Bar Elcano has been offering this traditional Sevillian quality service to its loyal customers.

The legacy was passed down to Diego Moreno, who grew up with the bar from a young age, maintaining quality service and attention to detail. With the collaboration of Antonio Robles, they have preserved the secret of Sevilla’s most renowned snails.

Like any good family rooted in Sevillian tradition, the father, Antonio, taught the trade’s secrets to his son, Germán “Willy.”

Today, "Willy" keeps this icon of Sevillian cuisine alive, having spent his entire life among its stoves and tables. He follows the living example of his parents, Antonio and Paqui, who remains an essential part of the kitchen to this day.
